Do you have a Studio?
No, I find studios to be a very impersonal and uninspiring place to work in, I much prefer to work in a natural environment. I can’t think or anything worse than to shoot a portrait session against a big white background surrounded by studio lights. I shoot environmental lifestyle portraits and my clients are much more relaxed when they are either at home or on location.
Areas include Burton on Trent, Stretton, Tutbury, Swadlincote, Repton, Hilton, Etwall, Ashby de la Zouch, Barton Under Needwood, Alrewas. Other areas may incur a small charge for travelling but please call me to discuss
How do you shoot a portrait session?
I’ll come along to either your home or a selected location which could be something as simple as the local park armed with cameras and maybe a few props depending on who you want photographing and what sort of portrait photography you want. Basically, the idea is to have a bit of fun, get those natural laughs, hugs and emotions and bring out your individual personalities in the photographs.
What experience do you have?
I have been a full time professional photographer now for over 6 years and I love photographing people. My husband is also a full time professional photographer and we work together on over 60 weddings every year.
What happens if it rains?
The dreaded English weather! I can still get some great shots in the rain with huge brollies but if it looks like being completely washed out then we can re-schedule no problem.
